Listening to the children I have treated over the past 30 years, they all resonate with the same message.
They are the ones in pain but are very commonly dismissed, told “it will go away” and sometimes made to feel that they are making the whole thing up for attention.
I really want to break these responses by giving the children that experience this pain, a voice. I have decided to start this with “The Growing Pains Detectives”. Just like me our Detectives are on a mission to find out more and to speak out about this real pain.
